REPREVE® fiber is a recycled polyester made primarily from post-consumer plastic bottles that would have otherwise ended up in landfills or in nature. By giving these materials a new lease on life, REPREVE® fibers actively contribute to the circular economy while conserving water, energy, and natural resources.

This material is used partially or entirely in the manufacturing of the coat to reduce its environmental footprint. Thus, instead of using virgin polyamide or polyester, their recycled REPREVE® version is preferred.

A.W.S. EXTREME

A.W.S. EXTREME products meet the needs of active outdoor people even in the most demanding conditions. Thanks to technical details and protective fabrics, the garment performs in any weather. This level of quality features a waterproof and highly breathable microporous membrane. Coats marked A.W.S. EXTREME often have taped seams and waterproof zippers to ensure complete protection against water.

A.W.S. ACTIVE

Special attention is paid to functionality and comfort in the design of A.W.S. ACTIVE products. The result: garments with a water-resistant and sufficiently breathable microporous membrane, designed to offer optimal freedom of movement, whether for physical activities or for relaxation.

Four-way stretch fabrics can stretch both lengthwise and widthwise and then return to their original shape.
This flexibility allows for total freedom of movement, particularly appreciated in sportswear and outdoor apparel.

Water Column
The water column measures a fabric's waterproofness. The higher the number, the more water-resistant the fabric.

●Example: 5,000 mm means that the fabric can withstand a 5,000 mm water column before water begins to penetrate.

●In practice, this is sufficient for moderate rain or light snow, but not for prolonged torrential rain.

Breathability

Breathability indicates the fabric's ability to allow water vapor (perspiration) to pass through, preventing moisture buildup inside.

●Example: 5,000 g/m²/24 h means that 5,000 grams of water vapor can pass through 1 m² of fabric in 24 hours.
●The higher this number, the more effectively the garment wicks away perspiration, keeping you dry and comfortable during activity.
